Our world, whether by birth or heritage, began somewhere. In our world we have seen and experienced many things we seek to have changed, yet many feel no obligation to change them. We hide behind the actions of the generations before us; we wait for change to come from someone somewhere else; we live as victims seeking handouts instead of survivors implementing change one step at a time. While we have been failed by leaders who did not do what they said they were going to do, leaders who did not discourage corruption, leaders who did not seek the best interest of the country and its citizens, we too will fail the generations after us if we do not fulfill our obligations and change the things we know are wrong. Convicted by the high level of innocence, ignorance, illiteracy, and indigence, in Liberia and other parts of the world, Youth Empowerment Services of Liberia (YesLiberia) was founded in September 2008 by Mr. Z. J. Jallah to foster education to improve the lives of the underprivileged. YesLiberia believes in transparency, accountability, and honesty. The organization is remarkably comprised of young people who actively seek to leave the world better than they met it by donating money and services and by volunteering time and talent. Your help is certainly needed to help this organization accomplish its goals or expand its projects to more disadvantaged people.
