The Naples Players at the Sugden Community Theatre

The Naples Players (TNP) is Naples' premier community theatre located in a state-of-the-art facility on historic 5th Avenue South. TNP opened in 1998 and completed a 22 million dollar major renovation in 2024. Our volunteers fill every type of performance and production job available in support of our 18+ adult and youth productions (musicals and plays) annually on three interior stages and 1 exterior stage. A volunteer force of 700+ members contribute over 77,000 hours annually. TNP provides adult performing arts classes and our Academy of Dramatic Arts (TNPA) serves 800+ children annually providing beginner to advanced theatre skills classes. TNPA consists of both summer and after school programs providing Showcase Classes based on skills development and Performance Classes where participants are working on a full production of an upcoming show. Through our Arts Access Program, TNP is dedicated to providing high-quality access to the arts for all members of our community. Our inclusive classes provide a supportive environment to learn the performing arts for students who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders and neuro-divergency individuals or any student who may wish to approach learning in a more accessible way. TNP Academy and Arts Access Program also serve 40+ partner organizations in the community.
