  • Mission

The mission of the Raymond A. Wood Foundation is to empower hypothalamic-pituitary brain tumor survivors with an improved quality of life by providing access to education, technology, and evolving treatments.

    About Us

Raymond A. Wood Foundation (RAWF) was incorporated in December 2016 and is a 501(c)3) nonprofit organization with a goal to support survivors of childhood brain tumors and their families by providing a means to get devices, research, or therapies that may help with ongoing chronic conditions that result from brain tumor treatment. The foundation is named for Alex Wood, a childhood brain tumor survivor. Today the foundation has evolved into seeking solutions for survivors of these tumor types - both children and adults.

The foundation offers a variety of services to survivors of childhood brain tumors and their families, including free monthly support groups, research and opportunities for clinical trials, a patient registry that will support ongoing research, and an in-person community conference.
