    Words Are Rich Foundations is a Nonprofit Organization 501(c)(3) dedicated to empowering

    youth and their families. Our mission is to provide them with the tools, support, and coaching

    necessary to transform their lives, build resilience, and emerge as leaders within their

    communities.

    About Us

    Overview

    The Path to Reconstruction is a transformative, 21-lesson curriculum designed to foster personal

    growth and change within justice-involved and at-risk communities. By integrating cognitive-

    behavioral development, emotional intelligence, and life skills training, the program empowers

    participants to confront harmful patterns, enhance self-awareness, and acquire the tools

    necessary for accountability, resilience, and successful societal reintegration.

    Program Objectives

    Participants in the program will:

    • Gain insight into the mental, emotional, and behavioral patterns influencing past decisions.
    • Develop emotional regulation and self-awareness through mindfulness and emotional
    • intelligence exercises.
    • Learn effective management of stress, anger, and depression.
    • Enhance communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal relationship skills.
    • Strengthen accountability, personal responsibility, and financial literacy.
    • Create a structured relapse prevention plan to ensure long-term stability and positive change.

    Program Structure

    The Path to Reconstruction is structured into 21 interactive lessons, each building on the

    previous to form a comprehensive journey of self-discovery and behavioral transformation.

    Each lesson integrates discussion, self-reflection, and skill-building exercises, promoting active

    engagement with real-life applications and measurable behavioral change.

    Target Audience

    Justice-involved individuals (incarcerated or formerly incarcerated)

    At-risk populations within reentry, community-based, or correctional settings

    Middle Schools & High Schools throughout Nevada

    Partnering Organizations that understand we can not do it alone

    Expected Outcomes

    Upon completion, participants will:

    • Demonstrate enhanced self-awareness and emotional regulation.
    • Exhibit improved decision-making and coping strategies for stress, anger, and depression.
    • Show increased accountability and responsibility toward themselves, their families, and
    • their communities.
    • Acquire practical life skills in communication, time management, and financial literacy.
    • Establish a relapse prevention plan supporting continued progress and reduced recidivism.
    • Display measurable behavioral change that aligns with rehabilitation and reentry goals.

    Program Delivery

    The program is adaptable for group or individual formats, led by trained facilitators or partner

    organizations. Sessions offer flexibility and can be customized to fit the schedules of

    institutional, community-based, or reentry programs.
