Turning Points of Manatee County helps families and individuals stabilize so they can remain housed, healthy, and supported during times of crisis.

Located in Bradenton, FL, this unique non profit organization offers five major programs:

Day Resource Center

Provides compassionate support for individuals experiencing homelessness by meeting immediate needs and connecting them to stability resources. Services include: clothing, showers, mail service, food stamp assistance, computer access, employment resources, and more.

Health Center

Turning Points’ award-winning Health Center provides quality medical and dental services for uninsured adults ages 18–64, all at no cost. Our Medical Clinic offers primary care, specialty care, and prescription assistance, while our Dental Clinic provides cleanings, fillings, extractions, and even dentures. We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate care and a healthier future.

Community Resource Department

Our Resource Navigators work one-on-one with individuals and families to connect them to the right services -affordable housing solutions, mental health, substance abuse recovery, employment, assistance with Social Security benefits, and more. We go beyond referrals - we guide and connect clients with the resources they need to thrive.

Rent & Utility Assistance

Assists individuals and families in Manatee County who are at risk of eviction or housing instability. Support may include past-due rent, utility payments, security deposits, first month’s rent, and auto repair assistance. Clients also receive case management with budgeting support and financial counseling to achieve lasting housing stability.

Connected Manatee Program

The Connected Manatee Program brings Turning Points services directly to select Palmetto schools, helping families access resources before challenges become crises. Services may include SNAP, Medicaid, Temporary Cash Assistance, unemployment assistance, FEMA assistance, rental and mortgage assistance, and connections to community resources. When families are stable, children are better able to learn, grow, and succeed at home, in school, and in life.
