The Light We Carry Foundation is a Boise, Idaho–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to ensure families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and child loss do not have to carry the weight of grief alone.

Our mission is to provide hope, practical support, and lasting remembrance to families navigating pregnancy loss, infant loss, and child loss.

We believe support should extend beyond the immediate days following a loss. Through financial assistance, meaningful remembrance, trusted resources, community connection, and our Family Circle, we are building a foundation that continues showing up for families in the days, months, and years that follow.

At the heart of our work is a simple belief: every child matters, every story deserves to be honored, and every family deserves to feel seen and supported.

The Light We Carry Foundation was built from lived experience and a desire to turn profound loss into meaningful support for others. We lead with compassion, dignity, inclusivity, and kindness, creating a community where families can carry the love and light of their children forward.
