About Us
The Justice for James Irby Sr. Foundation was born from one family’s determination to seek answers about James’s unsolved murder. James was more than a case file. His life, the people who love him, and the unanswered questions surrounding his death are the foundation of this work.
Beginning with the Justice for James initiative, our mission is to stand alongside families affected by unsolved homicides and violent crimes. Through family-centered advocacy, records research, case organization, referrals, and public awareness, we work to help families pursue answers while
honoring their loved ones as people—not just cases. James’s story began this foundation. Our commitment reaches beyond it
